Why Kickstarter?

CHEESE! is a self-published picture book, written by me (Chris Douch) and illustrated by Johnny Schumann. It’s a passion project that has been created entirely independently of the conventional publishing industry.

But it isn’t cheap to develop, produce and publish a picture book.

This Kickstarter campaign allows me to raise the funding necessary to achieve my dream of bringing this book to life. I literally can’t do it without you.

Your generous support will:

• Cover the cost of illustrating and designing a professional quality, full colour 8.5″ x 8.5″32-page picture book
   
• Cover the costs associated with the publication of the book (licensing fonts, ISBN registration, book printing, etc)
   
• Pay for the physical rewards offered to support the book 
   
• Pay for packaging materials and shipping (sorry – UK shipping only)
   
• Boost the marketing campaign to help CHEESE! find its audience

A selection of rewards will be available to backers, as well as some exclusive add-ons. It’s also possible to support by contribution a small donation of a couple of pounds. It all helps!
