If you’ve found my blogs useful, this is FOR YOU!
I’m working on a NEW Mini Comedy Writing Guide that will be exclusively available to backers of my Kickstarter.
It’s being written to support UK comedy writers. Whether you’re just starting out or have been writing for a while, there will be content to help you get to the next stage.
You can expect tips and advice on various areas of being a writer, including:
- Finding opportunities
- Creating opportunities
- Writing for kids
- Getting noticed
- Networking
- Agents
- Emailing people in the industry
- Writer’s Block
- Dealing with rejection
To make sure it hits your needs, anyone who signs up to receive the guide will have the opportunity to request topics and themes to be covered!
You can even asks questions to have answered in the guide!
It can be difficult to know how to navigate a career as a comedy writer. Often writers find themselves stuck in a loop of submitting to the same few opportunities but struggle to find a way to progress or get noticed.
I’ve been writing comedy professionally since 2010 and I’m using this guide to pass on a LOAD of information to help writers out.
My credits include The Impressions Show, Watson & Oliver, Diddy TV, Gigglebiz, Justin’s House, Crackerjack, Newsjack, Breaking the News, The Skewer, DMs Are Open, Noising Up, The Now Show, and the News Quiz. I’ve also written for animated kids shows like Nickelodeon’s Best and Bester and LEGO City – No Limits.
My Kickstarter is to fund a picture book called CHEESE! When you pledge you can select the Mini Comedy Writing Guide on its own or get it in a bundle with a copy of the book.
The Kickstarter runs until 23:59 (BST) on the 4th June 2024 so time is running out to secure your copy. The guide will only be available for backers of the Kickstarter. So don’t miss out!
